On Page SEO
Home > Search Marketing > On Page SEOThere are numerous on-page factors that influence your ranking in search engines. Each page should be properly optimized for your target keywords. Below are just a few on-page SEO elements that you must be aware of:
Page URL
It is beneficial to include at least one keyword in the URL of the page. If you don’t already have it in the domain or subdomain, it is smart to name your file based off your keywords.
For Example

Meta Tags
Search engines extract meta tags to get a synopsis of your web page. Meta descriptions are what you see on search engine results.
Tip: If you have a phone number as a call to action, put that in your meta description. It will pop-up for users on smart phones or who use Skype.

Keyword Density
Your target keywords must be placed throughout the content of the webpage. It is wise to have at least 2% density for your target keywords. That is, if you have 500 words of content on your page, your keyword should appear at least 10 times.
Content Placement
Not only should the Meta Tags and Keyword Density be carefully arranged, but the placement of the content is just as important. Google does not want to see all your keywords stuffed at the bottom of the page. Keywords should be inside content and disseminated throughout the page. Check out our On Page SEO!
